Children need to be at least three years old and toilet-trained for admission to our school. We are able to accept students at any time of the year, space permitting, due to the individualized nature of our program. Children are admitted without regard to race, creed, or ethnic background. Considerations are given, however, to the needs of the classroom so we may balance ages and/or gender in admitting children.
Enrollment Procedure
- Arrange a tour of the classroom. You may observe the class, without your child, during the morning or you may come, with or without your child, after 3:00 pm to tour the school.
- Return an application form, including the $25 application fee, to the school.
- Bring your child to the school to meet with a Directress who will informally assess her/his readiness for school.
- Once placement is secured, you will receive a Parent Contract. To secure your child's place in FCMS, the contract must be signed and returned by the requested date along with the $400 tuition down payment.
- Tuition is payable according to the tuition schedule of your choice and is non-refundable.
- Children new to FMS will be accepted on a 30-day probationary period, which will begin on their first day of enrollment and end after 30 calendar days.
- Upon entry, as part of admission to FCMS, all families are required to donate 10 hours of their time to the school. These hours may be completed by listening to children read during class time, helping with the Scholastic Book orders, attending our Parent Education Seminars, or other activities approved by the Director.
